Overview
We are seeking an experienced Inventory & Internal Controls Manager to support a high-impact finance function within a global automotive organization. This role will oversee inventory accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting, while leading a small team and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

- Location: Paris, ON Canada
- Schedule: 4 days onsite / 1 day remote
- Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Pay Rate: $44.32/hour with benefits
Responsibilities
- Supervise finance team members, including Cost Analysts and a Parts Pricing Analyst
- Oversee inventory accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
- Manage dealer programs, including parts returns, reporting metrics, and communications
- Review and approve debit/credit memos, intercompany billings, and journal entries
- Coordinate and support internal audits, controls testing, and compliance activities
- Lead monthly inventory reporting, review, and submission
- Serve as business owner for parts systems and approve system updates
- Maintain and update operational documentation and internal procedures
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial compliance standards
- Partner with cross-functional teams across finance, operations, and supply chain
Required / Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, corporate finance, or internal controls
- Experience supervising or leading a team
- Strong background in:
- Inventory accounting
- Internal controls and audit support
- Accounts payable / financial operations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred:
- Experience in inventory, parts, or supply chain environments
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems
- Automotive or manufacturing industry experience
