Description: Accounts Payable Clerk for Logistics
Work Location: Santa Ana, CA, USA
Work Schedule: Fully On-Site

Data analysis, technical proficiency (excel, SAP, etc), communication

Education and Years of Experience:
1) Bachelor’s Degree
2) 5-8 years of experience minimal

o Balance and reconcile batch control totals with source documents or computer listings in order to locate errors, encode correct amounts, or prepare correction records.
o Prepare itemized statements, bills, or invoices and record amounts due for items purchased or services rendered
o Audit invoices and back ups
o Reconcile and post payables for vendors across various departments and/or accounts.
o Perform bookkeeping work, including posting data and keeping other records concerning costs and shipments.
o Prepare weekly and monthly pending reports
o Collaborate with vendors, 3PL, and other internal departments for timely and accurate payments, identify and resolve any issues that may arise
o Assist in month-end closings, clearing open GL items and accruing open shipments
o Analyze and report any opportunities for process improvements

+ minimum requirements
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software.
Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
Written and verbal communication
Bachelor’s Degree

++ Preferred Skills
• General knowledge of logistics and/or supply chain
• Experience with SAP, WMS, ERP
