Summary
This role involves a mix of permit processing, customer coordination, and administrative support for managers and special projects. You’ll be working closely with cross-functional teams, handling sensitive documentation, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. We’re looking for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn—we’ll provide on-the-job training for the right candidate.

Experience / Skills
Required:

  • Basic administrative or clerical experience (2 years)
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in:
    • Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and job aids

Preferred:

  • Experience with SAP (Front/Back Office)
  • Familiarity with plotter and scanner operation
  • Background in customer service

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile purchase cards for truck permitting
  • Process MDOT and municipal permit requests
  • Submit Miss Dig tickets
  • Coordinate site checks and customer communications
  • Support managers and special projects as needed
