Summary
This role involves a mix of permit processing, customer coordination, and administrative support for managers and special projects. You’ll be working closely with cross-functional teams, handling sensitive documentation, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. We’re looking for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn—we’ll provide on-the-job training for the right candidate.
Experience / Skills
Required:
- Basic administrative or clerical experience (2 years)
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in:
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and job aids
Preferred:
- Experience with SAP (Front/Back Office)
- Familiarity with plotter and scanner operation
- Background in customer service
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile purchase cards for truck permitting
- Process MDOT and municipal permit requests
- Submit Miss Dig tickets
- Coordinate site checks and customer communications
- Support managers and special projects as needed
