About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Python Developer to support small to large, complex application initiatives. In this hybrid role, you’ll work closely with data science teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver web/UI applications that meet business requirements. This position supports the full systems development life cycle and requires both front?end and back?end expertise.
This role requires one day per week onsite at the Detroit Tower.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with data science teams, clients, and technical partners to translate business requirements into technical designs and applications
- Design, develop, test, and support Python-based web and UI applications
- Contribute across the full SDLC, including analysis, development, integration, testing, and deployment
- Support multiple applications to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
- Work independently and as part of an agile, cross-functional team
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with front-end libraries and technologies (Angular, HTML, CSS)
- 4+ years of experience with Python-based web frameworks, specifically Django
- Intermediate SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
- Strong understanding of application design, systems architecture, testing, and integration methodologies
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive both independently and in a collaborative team environment
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid: Onsite one day per week at the Detroit Tower
