Schedule: Onsite, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm 

Pay Range: $46.42-$54.92 per hour  

Job Description:  

Position Overview 

We are seeking a Senior AI Platform & Services Engineer to lead the engineering, administration, integration, and operational support of enterprise AI platforms and services. This is a hands-on technical role focused on building secure, scalable, and well-governed AI capabilities across multiple AI ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in platform engineering, cloud services, automation, identity and access management, integrations, and enterprise AI operations. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Engineer, administer, and continuously improve enterprise AI platforms and supporting services. 

  • Design, implement, and support AI integrations, APIs, connectors, agents, orchestration workflows, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions. 

  • Establish and maintain platform standards for administration, configuration, access controls, environment management, onboarding, and lifecycle management. 

  • Implement identity and security controls including SSO, RBAC, privileged access management, service accounts, secrets management, and least-privilege access models. 

  • Translate governance, security, privacy, compliance, and data management requirements into technical controls and operational processes. 

  • Develop monitoring, logging, alerting, auditing, usage reporting, and operational performance metrics for AI platforms. 

  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex platform, integration, authentication, authorization, and data-access issues. 

  • Evaluate emerging AI products, services, and capabilities while supporting testing, pilot programs, deployment, and operational readiness. 

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, standards, and support procedures. 

  • Drive automation initiatives that improve reliability, consistency, observability, and operational efficiency. 

  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering and support teams. 

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, application, data, architecture, compliance, and business stakeholders. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. 

  • 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering, systems engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, automation, enterprise application administration, or related technical disciplines. 

  • Hands-on experience supporting complex cloud or SaaS platforms, integrations, APIs, identity management, and enterprise services. 

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multi-system environments. 

  • Experience implementing and supporting technical controls that align with security, governance, compliance, and operational requirements. 

  • Strong communication and technical documentation skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with enterprise AI platforms such as OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services, Google Gemini, Vertex AI, or similar technologies. 

  • Experience building or supporting AI agents, RAG/grounding solutions, enterprise search, knowledge integrations, tool/function calling, or AI orchestration workflows. 

  • Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, JSON, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools. 

  • Experience with enterprise identity platforms, including Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth, OIDC, SAML, RBAC, privileged access management, and service principals. 

  • Knowledge of security, privacy, data governance, logging, auditing, DLP, and responsible AI practices. 

  • Experience working within regulated, government, healthcare, financial services, or other compliance-focused environments. 

  • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) practices including incident, problem, change, request, and knowledge management.
