Associate Project Manager
Job Type: W2, 6-month Contract

Pay Rate: $38 – $40 per hour
Summary
Coordinate all aspects of a product or service offering project for a client—from inception to installation. This role involves collaboration with sales, consultants, and cross-functional teams. Strong project administration, communication, time management, and organizational skills are essential. Responsible for overseeing schedules and budgets to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide project administration and maintain strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Execute and deliver projects across technical practices within strict deadlines and budget constraints.
- Ensure all deliverables outlined in the client’s Statement of Work are completed.
- Communicate high-level schedules to project teams.
- Assist in resource identification and optimize billable schedules; monitor and adjust assignments as needed.
- Document, track, and communicate project issues; support resolution efforts.
- Manage procurement and delivery schedules for equipment, software, licensing, and external services.
- Document lessons learned and share insights with colleagues.
- Maintain fiscal responsibility to the client and the project.
- Escalate complex client or team issues to the account team and management.
- Coordinate team efforts to meet project success factors and exceed client expectations.
- Lead and facilitate live and virtual meetings; keep discussions focused and follow up promptly.
- Build consensus within project teams and demonstrate effective listening skills.
- Identify additional opportunities or cross-sell potential and communicate them to the Account Executive or Manager.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a computer-related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in Infrastructure Project Management delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with one or more formal project management methodologies, including at least one iterative (non-waterfall) approach.
- Understanding of core-level technologies.
- Knowledge of cost, timeline, and resource requirements for deploying technology solutions.
- Professional, customer-focused attitude with courteous communication.
- Willingness to work weekends or off-hours as needed to meet client demands.
- Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting technology recommendations from a business perspective.
- Discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Ability to follow instructions, multitask, prioritize, and apply common sense in job performance.
