Export and Logistics Coordinator
Location: Hybrid / Onsite (Warren, MI)
Rate: $28.50/HR

Position Overview
We are seeking an Export Operations & Logistics Coordinator to support vehicle exports from North America to global markets. This role serves as a single point of contact for assigned export accounts and plays a critical role in tracking orders from Order?to?Delivery (OTD), resolving issues, and coordinating with internal teams and international stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is organized, solution?oriented, comfortable working across multiple systems, and thrives in a fast?paced, issue?driven logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned export accounts, coordinating daily with internal operations teams, logistics providers, finance partners, suppliers, and international dealers/distributors
- Track all export orders from order entry through delivery, ensuring visibility across the Order?to?Delivery (OTD) lifecycle
- Identify, communicate, and follow up on order issues including rejections, changes, options updates, ship?to changes, and cancellations
- Track and update Manufacturing Validation Build (MVB) or pre?production vehicle status on a weekly basis
- Coordinate with logistics, finance, product, and market teams on issues impacting production schedules or export launches
- Prepare manual invoices for special or validation builds when required
- Coordinate with freight forwarders (DF Young experience strongly preferred) on logistics and financial transactions, including:
- Credit & rebill
- Reconsignments
- Special or expedited transportation moves (airfreight, spot buys)
- Generate and review weekly status and issue reports focused on:
- Orders not released for production
- Missing or delayed production timing
- Vehicles built but not released to logistics
- Support shipment inquiries by coordinating with ports, processors, offshore plants, and logistics partners
- Participate in recurring calls with export markets and internal stakeholders to review demand, logistics, and open issues
- Assist with system access, delivery reporting, and troubleshooting across order and logistics platforms
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve system?related issues
- Provide backup and coverage for team members as needed
- Support ad?hoc reporting and data analysis across operational systems
