Smart Connected Warehouse (SCW) Analyst

Location: Milan, IL
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Contract Duration: 1-year, possibility for extension – W2 

Work Schedule: Core hours are 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM; overtime may be required based on business needs
Travel: Occasional travel to facilities in Illinois, Indiana, and Canada
Safety Requirement: Metatarsal safety boots required

Position Overview

We are seeking a Smart Connected Warehouse (SCW) Analyst to support warehouse modernization and transformation initiatives across multiple distribution and operations facilities. This role focuses on enhancing warehouse operations through modern warehouse management systems, process improvements, technology implementations, and user training.

The ideal candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to support system deployments, troubleshoot operational challenges, develop training materials, and help drive successful adoption of new warehouse technologies and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and production support for facilities utilizing modern warehouse management solutions.
  • Assist with the deployment of new system capabilities, enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Develop training materials, user guides, and operational documentation.
  • Deliver training to warehouse office staff and floor personnel.
  • Support warehouse modernization and system implementation initiatives across multiple locations.
  • Prepare facilities and teams for warehouse management system deployments and operational transitions.
  • Train operators and end users on new systems, tools, and business processes.
  • Troubleshoot implementation issues and support successful user adoption.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, IT, and warehouse teams to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts within warehouse and distribution environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an operations, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, engineering, or related environment.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or operations environment.
  • 2+ years of engineering or operations support experience.
  • Experience training employees on processes, systems, procedures, or best practices.
  • Experience supporting operational technologies, business applications, warehouse management systems (WMS), or related IT tools.
  • Experience working on system implementations, upgrades, or technology rollouts.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement principles and process optimization initiatives.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in one of the following areas:

  • Engineering
  • Engineering Technology
  • Business Administration
  • Operations Management
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Related discipline
