Title: Business Analyst (Non-IT) 2
Location: Chillicothe, IL
Details: 12-month contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite role
Pay Rate: $28.00 – 30.00/hr. with benefit inclusions
Job Summary
This role supports a procurement-focused team by analyzing financial and supplier data, preparing documentation and presentations, and contributing to pricing, cost, and performance initiatives. The individual will work in a fast?paced office environment, collaborating closely with buyers while also managing independent analytical work. Success in this role provides a strong foundation for advancement into a buyer or category buyer position.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed analysis of financial, pricing, spend, and supplier performance data
- Support pricing activities, including documentation and approval materials for price increases
- Prepare presentations and analytical summaries for internal stakeholders
- Analyze and maintain supplier data related to shipping performance, quality metrics, and pricing
- Partner with suppliers to help improve performance metrics
- Identify cost?reduction opportunities through spend analysis
- Maintain accurate and well?organized documentation to support team initiatives
Years of Experience and Education
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, finance, or a related function
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Internship experience may be considered toward total experience
- Prior experience in roles such as Buyer, Procurement Analyst, or Supply Chain Analyst is considered relevant
Skills Required

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
