Business Analyst (Non-IT) | Peoria, IL | On-Site
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a North America Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) team. This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional who enjoys working with data, forecasting trends, monitoring demand, and collaborating with business partners to ensure customer demand is effectively prioritized and fulfilled.
Location: Peoria, IL
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Work Arrangement: 100% On-Site
Pay Rate: $34 – $36 an hr
What You’ll Do
- Support demand planning activities through data analysis, reporting, and business partner collaboration.
- Assist the Demand Manager in executing Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
- Monitor sales activity, customer orders, and inventory levels to identify risks and recommend actions.
- Develop and maintain reports that provide visibility into demand, supply, and inventory trends.
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize data from multiple sources to support business decisions.
- Identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Communicate insights and findings clearly to internal stakeholders.
- Support demand forecasting efforts and contribute to planning activities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Demand Planning, Demand Management, Supply Chain Analysis, Order Management, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with large datasets, reporting, and business performance analysis.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Background
- Experience supporting Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
- Demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, or order management experience.
- Previous experience as a Demand Analyst, Order Analyst, or similar role.
