Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: Urbandale, IA

Assignment Length: 12 Months

Pay Rate: $50.00/hour

 

As a?Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst?at John Deere ISG, you will be generating actionable insights & reports to personalize the customer experience for making better & faster decisions. The role will be specifically focused on supporting large agriculture customers with valuable, actionable, and timely analytics in BI dashboards that are customized to meet their primary analysis needs, including the data setup required to display data accurately and succinctly to customers. This position will also require ability to communicate and present to both external customers and internal stakeholders.

In addition, you will:?
•??Extract and evaluate data to support BI development
•??Create and support data visualizations, insightful reports, and dashboards for internal stakeholders and dealer channel
•??Organize and clean the acquired data to improve data quality (accuracy, completeness, relevance)
•??Automate operational reporting

What Skills You Need
•??2 or more years of experience with Data Visualization tools and storytelling (i.e. QuickSight, Tableau, PowerBI etc.)
•??2 or more years of experience in data cleaning, data validation, and data analysis
•??1 or more years of experience using SQL or similar code
•??1 or more years of experience in communicating analytics results to senior leadership and technical audiences with the ability to adapt the level of technical detail

What Makes You Stand Out
•??Expertise in QuickSight (very important)
•??Expertise in big data platforms and/or technologies such as AWS, Data Lake, and Databricks
•??Experience with, and implementation of, AI and low-code applications or solutions
•??Experience in communicating to leadership and technical audiences with the ability to adapt the level of technical detail
•??Experience in training and mentoring others to use BI tools
•??Experience in agriculture

Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
•??Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent quantitative fields
