Job Title: Business Resilience Strategist
Contract Duration: 1-year, possible extension (W2 only)
Work Arrangement: Remote, CA
Pay: $75-80/hr
Responsibilities
- Support Strategic Resilience Initiatives: Assist in the execution of cross-discipline projects that enhance the company’s resilience, including crisis management, business continuity, and employee well-being.
- Program Development & Implementation: Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of global/corporate-level crisis management programs and their integration with other resilience disciplines.
- Project Management: Undertake specific projects related to business resilience (crisis management and business continuity) program strategy, governance, response structures, and training for senior executives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with function-level (HR, Legal, etc.) and product-level (Monetization, etc.) teams to support crisis planning and execution.
- Continuous Improvement: Help launch global initiatives that integrate lessons learned from exercises and real-world crises into program enhancements.
- Tool & Capability Development: Assist in creating and deploying new tools to support crisis management plans and capabilities.
- AI Tooling Deployment: Actively learn and integrate emerging AI tools into day-to-day work to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and support program capabilities.
- Quality Assurance: Review work products across domains, providing feedback and ensuring high standards, without direct supervisory authority.
- Advisory Support: Offer guidance and direction to stakeholders on problem-solving approaches, acting as an advisor under leadership’s direction.
Qualifications
- 5–6+ years of experience in crisis management, enterprise risk management, or related fields.
- Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-changing environments; management consulting experience preferred.
- Experience collaborating with senior-level internal/external business executives.
- Exposure to developing or launching company-wide programs, ideally for Fortune 50 companies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and chat-based AI tool usage for daily work.
- Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated use of AI in driving impactful project work in previous roles.
- Preference will be given to candidates with the ability to use Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Experience supporting global programs.
- Background in business transformation or change management is a plus.
- Experience reporting to senior leaders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a sense of ownership.
