Expected hours per week: 40 hours per week 

Schedule: Hybrid, 8am-4:30pm PST, Monday-Friday,  

Pay Range: $53.01 per hour  

Job Description:  

Position Summary 

We are seeking an experienced Business Solutions Analyst to support the analysis, design, and optimization of business processes and technology solutions. This role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business needs are translated into clear, actionable requirements that support successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business systems analysis, process improvement, Agile methodologies, and requirements management. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements for new systems, enhancements, and process improvements. 

  • Conduct business process analysis and workflow assessments to identify inefficiencies and recommend future-state solutions. 

  • Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, data flow diagrams, use cases, and other business analysis documentation using Visio or similar tools. 

  • Create and manage epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items in Agile environments. 

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, vendors, and project teams throughout the software development lifecycle. 

  • Support system design efforts by assisting in the development of requirements, specifications, and solution recommendations. 

  • Perform impact assessments, process evaluations, and cost-benefit analyses to support business decision-making. 

  • Assist with system testing, defect tracking, validation activities, and user acceptance testing (UAT). 

  • Monitor and maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle. 

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience applying analytical processes on IT-related projects. 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business systems analysis and design. 

Required Experience 

  • 3+ years of experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements. 

  • 3+ years of experience utilizing Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools for backlog management, requirements tracking, and defect management. 

  • Experience creating process documentation, workflow diagrams, and business analysis artifacts. 

  • Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements, and process improvement initiatives. 

  • 3+ years of experience working with data exchange processes, interface operations, or system integrations. 

  • 2+ years of experience supporting workflow, case management, ERP, reporting, or enterprise business systems. 

  • 2+ years of experience collaborating with third-party vendors or external technical partners. 

Required Skills 

  • Business process analysis and process improvement 

  • Requirements elicitation and documentation 

  • Business systems analysis and systems design 

  • Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban 

  • User story creation and backlog management 

  • Azure DevOps, Jira, or related project management tools 

  • Visio or equivalent diagramming tools 

  • SQL query development and data analysis 

  • Technical and business documentation 

  • Stakeholder communication and relationship management 

  • Testing support and defect management 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with case management, eligibility, enrollment, claims processing, contracts management, or similar business platforms. 

  • Knowledge of application lifecycle management and systems integration concepts. 

  • Experience working within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
