Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Solutions Analyst to support the analysis, design, and optimization of business processes and technology solutions. This role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business needs are translated into clear, actionable requirements that support successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business systems analysis, process improvement, Agile methodologies, and requirements management.
Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements for new systems, enhancements, and process improvements.

Conduct business process analysis and workflow assessments to identify inefficiencies and recommend future-state solutions.

Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, data flow diagrams, use cases, and other business analysis documentation using Visio or similar tools.

Create and manage epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items in Agile environments.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, vendors, and project teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Support system design efforts by assisting in the development of requirements, specifications, and solution recommendations.

Perform impact assessments, process evaluations, and cost-benefit analyses to support business decision-making.

Assist with system testing, defect tracking, validation activities, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Monitor and maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Minimum of 5 years of experience applying analytical processes on IT-related projects.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in business systems analysis and design.
Required Experience

3+ years of experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements.

3+ years of experience utilizing Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools for backlog management, requirements tracking, and defect management.

Experience creating process documentation, workflow diagrams, and business analysis artifacts.

Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.

3+ years of experience working with data exchange processes, interface operations, or system integrations.

2+ years of experience supporting workflow, case management, ERP, reporting, or enterprise business systems.

2+ years of experience collaborating with third-party vendors or external technical partners.
