Pay Rate: $31.00 – 34.00/hr. with benefit inclusions
Job Summary
The Product Development Excellence, Quality and Cost team at Caterpillar is seeking a motivated individual to support the development and deployment of product development processes and tools. This role provides critical support to practitioners by facilitating communication, testing, and training across cross-functional teams. The position plays a key role in enabling global product development success through improved efficiency and reduced defects.
Responsibilities
- Support users on product development processes and tools through training, documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to gather requirements and coordinate tool enhancements with IT.
- Partner with process and application owners to deliver insights on application usage and deployment.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and visualization to support decision-making.
- Engage with Business System Leads and the Product Development Applications user community.
- Participate in projects focused on Requirements Management and FMEA.
Years of Experience and Education
- Experience: 2–4 years in a relevant technical field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Preferred: Master’s degree with 2–4 years of experience.
- Note: Internship experience is not accepted as qualifying experience.
- Comparable Backgrounds: Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
