Purchasing Analyst
Location: Clayton, NC
Schedule: Onsite, 8am-5pm
12 month contract- ongoing contract
Pay Range: $25.68-27.75 depending on experience and benefits

Position’s Contribution to Work Group:

Supporting buyers in Engine and Aftermarket areas with gathering, analyzing quotes, keeping LOGNET up to date, loading quotes, communication with supplier.

Typical Day:
•            Utilize data analytics tools (such as Excel, SQL, Procure, PowerBI) to evaluate purchasing trends, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
•            Identify patterns, anomalies, and areas for improvement based on data analysis.
•            Develop strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality standards.
•            Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.
•            Provide data analysis for contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
•            Monitor supplier performance, track delivery timelines, and address any issues promptly.
•            Continuously assess and enhance procurement processes.
•            Recommend process changes based on data insights.
•            Understand and adhere to company purchasing policies and guidelines.
•            Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in procurement practices.
Education:
-Bachelor’s degree preferred; willing to accept associates or high school degree with equivalent experience -5-7 years of experience in the field

Technical Skills:
•            Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
•            LOGNET/SAP (MRP systems) -Supplier management
•            Demonstrate great attention to detail in analyzing data and managing procurement processes.
•            Take initiative and work independently to drive results.
•            Focus on implementing practical solutions and achieving goals.
•            Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
