Change Management Specialist (12?Month Contract) 

? Location: Mossville, IL (Onsite, Monday–Friday)
? Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (flexible within reason)
? Duration: 12 months
? Compensation: $42 – $45 an hr


About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Change Management Specialist to support enterprise?wide transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who excels in communication, works well in matrixed environments, and enjoys guiding people through organizational, process, system, and behavioral change.

As part of an internal Change Management Office, you will partner directly with project teams, leaders, and stakeholders, shaping communications and driving adoption strategies that help the business achieve meaningful results.


What You’ll Do

Change Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute change management plans for organizational, process, system, and strategy?driven initiatives.
  • Conduct needs analyses and impact assessments to determine effective change approaches.
  • Influence and guide stakeholders—up to senior leadership—on the importance of change adoption.

Communication & Content Creation

  • Author clear, compelling communication materials (articles, announcements, rollout messaging).
  • Interview leaders and subject?matter experts to gather information.
  • Create visually engaging PowerPoint presentations aligned with brand and communication standards.
  • Review and refine messaging for consistency, clarity, and alignment across channels.

Project & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate meetings, manage action items, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Facilitate working sessions and team meetings (including live screen?sharing).
  • Design and deliver change?support artifacts such as guides, training content, and communication plans.
  • Use surveys, interviews, and focus groups to measure adoption and gather feedback.

What a Typical Week Looks Like

  • Meeting with business partners to understand upcoming change initiatives.
  • Drafting, editing, and publishing communications.
  • Designing slides and rollout materials for presentations or leader briefings.
  • Facilitating meetings and guiding project teams through change activities.
  • Tracking execution of change plans and ensuring deliverables are completed on time.
  • Gathering and analyzing feedback from stakeholders to refine adoption strategies.

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • 5+ years in Organizational Change Management, transformation leadership, or strategic communications.
  • Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead without authority and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Experience managing multiple projects independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and frameworks.

Preferred

  • Experience creating polished executive?ready PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to make real?time edits during working sessions.
  • Background in communications, public relations, program management, or coaching.
