Client Support Technician
Location: Lexington, SC | Fully Onsite
Pay Rate: $29/hour
Duration: 90-Day Contract with Extensions; Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 Hours Per Week
Job Overview
Epitec is seeking a Client Support Technician to provide onsite technical support for a US Foods facility in Lexington, SC. This role will support office and warehouse employees by troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity issues while delivering excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a strong desktop support background, experience working directly with end users, and the ability to troubleshoot a wide variety of technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite technical support for desktop, laptop, printer, and mobile device issues.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and utilities.
- Support warehouse Android devices and related hardware.
- Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, printer, and networking issues.
- Create and maintain support tickets, documenting issues and resolutions.
- Monitor systems, identify technical problems, and implement corrective actions.
- Assist with workstation deployments, imaging, upgrades, and equipment replacements.
- Support end users in both office and warehouse environments.
- Maintain hardware inventory and assist with asset management activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely issue resolution and exceptional customer support.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of technical support, desktop support, help desk, or related IT experience.
- 3-5 years of customer service experience.
- Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting Windows operating systems.
- Experience supporting desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
- Understanding of user profiles, permissions, registry settings, and system recovery tools.
- Experience with imaging and deployment technologies.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Experience with remote support tools such as Remote Desktop, Microsoft Teams, or similar technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- A+, Microsoft, or other relevant technical certifications.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Previous experience troubleshooting desktop, laptop, notebook, and printer hardware issues.
- Strong Microsoft Office support experience.
- Experience supporting warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center environments.
- Familiarity with BIOS/UEFI, hardware drivers, firmware updates, and hardware replacement activities.
