Communications & Training Specialist – I-ERP Program
Location: Dearborn, MI (Hybrid – Onsite Mon–Wed)
Pay Rate: Up to $40.29/hour, depending on chosen benefits
Contract: 18+ months
 
About the Role
Our company is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications & Training Specialist to support our Tier 1 Automotive client’s I-ERP (Integrated Enterprise Resource Planning) program. This role is ideal for someone passionate about strategic communication, employee engagement, and impactful training delivery across global teams.
 

Position Description:

  • Assist the communications & training team with all items related to I-ERP communications, engagements, and training.
  • Create communication strategies and plans.
  • Develop global end-user engagement strategies.
  • Track metrics and engagement data.
  • Develop internal communications for Purchasing and cross-functional counterparts.
  • Develop internal communications for leadership.
  • Review and refine content developed by the team.
  • Lead and develop scripting and logistics of the Tek Talks podcast and I-ERP Minute podcasts.
  • Provide input to Corporate engagement strategies.
  • Provide input to external (and public) communication strategies.
  • Support the team to deliver impactful and inspiring content with an element of storytelling.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design, develop, and update training curriculum for various IERP courses.
  • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and MS Teams meetings, both in-person and virtually, to diverse audiences.

Primary Skills Required:

  • Communication management and strategic planning, including developing newsletters and podcasts.
  • Developing and managing training content.

Primary Skills Preferred:

  • Strong PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills.
  • Experience managing SharePoint and running online surveys.

Experience Required:

  • Proven ability to develop and execute training programs.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, including SharePoint and survey tools.

Experience Preferred:

  • Demonstrated leadership in podcast creation, including scripting and logistics.
  • Effective internal communications development for Purchasing and cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic updates to training materials with measurable impact.

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree
  • Preferred: Master’s degree
