Music Content Operations Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a Music Content Operations Analyst to support global operations for music labels. This role requires a data-driven professional who thrives in dynamic environments and can adapt to frequent changes. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver, comfortable with ambiguity, and skilled at collaborating across teams and regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations with North American music label partners, ensuring smooth collaboration and timely issue resolution.
  • Develop scalable solutions to identify and resolve operational challenges related to music content and label support.
  • Communicate regularly with partners regarding data delivery, validation, and documentation needs.
  • Gain a deep understanding of music rights management products and their application across various stakeholder groups.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in music account management, product management, online operations, consulting, or data analytics.
  • Strong technical operations skills, including advanced querying, data fluency, troubleshooting data issues, and scripting.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the music or media industry, such as working with record labels, digital service providers (DSPs), or user-generated content platforms.
  • Familiarity with music copyright, licensing, and digital rights management products.
  • Background in music industry research or operations, preferably with record labels, music publishers, or complex DSP/UGC platforms.
  • Previous experience at major music agencies or labels (e.g., Warner Music) is a plus.
