Position: Control Design Specialist
Location: Remote (UT)
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract
Pay: $40-45 per hour based on benefits
Description: We are seeking a Control Design Specialist who will have a focused range of responsibilities as part of a team responsible for identifying risk in the Collections area and driving strategies to manage it. This person will also liaise with the enterprise-wide Legal, Compliance and Corporate Risk functions.
Responsibilities:
- Risk and Control Management
- Ensures effective identification and implementation of controls to manage operational, financial, and compliance risks
- Acts as subject matter expert on efficient processes to maintain an accurate library of DNAs risks and controls
- Works with partners to develop and execute action plans to resolve issues and prevent recurrence
- Support issue management activities within Collections which includes:
- Process workflows evaluation
- Potential control design gaps identification and communication
- Discussion of enhancements and implementing these processes
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience in Risk and Controls
- Experience as a Business Process Analyst, Business Risk Control Analyst
- Strong leadership skills
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Business acumen problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated effective time management
- Demonstrated strong issue management skills
- Ability to manage effective challenge processes
- Understanding of risk taxonomy, risk identification, and assessment methodology
