Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description:
The Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting industrial control systems based on defined sequences of operation within a manufacturing environment. This role involves electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, HMI, and robotics solutions, along with onsite startup, debugging, and technical support. The position requires strong analytical skills, hands-on plant floor experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Design and engineer electrical wiring, pneumatic piping, and hydraulic piping diagrams
• Design electrical control panels and control system architectures
• Develop, program, and debug PLC and HMI software
• Configure and support servo drives, machine controls, and industrial networks (Ethernet/Profinet)
• Program and support Fanuc robots, including vision systems and robotic guidance (Fanuc Vision, Matrox)
• Perform system tryout, commissioning, startup, and onsite debugging
• Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues in a manufacturing/plant floor environment
• Provide technical support for equipment installation and training of plant personnel
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings
• Manage and support multiple controls and robotics projects with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with engineering teams, customers, and plant personnel to resolve issues
