Epitec is seeking to hire an HR Coordinator-Time & Attendance to support a large global U.S. automaker at their Wayne, MI facility. This role is a critical HR/Operations liaison position focused on attendance compliance, FMLA administration, and union workforce support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
-
Serve as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the National Attendance Program (NAP)
-
Administer FMLA, MLOA, tardiness, and attendance policies in alignment with union agreements

Investigate and audit employee attendance records across HR/timekeeping systems
-
Conduct disciplinary/corrective action meetings in accordance with contract language
-
Maintain and audit attendance coding (personal, bereavement, jury duty, military, FMLA, etc.)

Publish daily attendance status reports to operations and UAW stakeholders
-
Act as SME to leadership on attendance policy interpretation

Partner with operations, labor relations, medical, and union representatives

Lead 10-day quit process tracking and execution

Identify and drive continuous improvement in attendance processes
Required Qualifications
-
1+ year experience in a unionized manufacturing environment

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field

Strong proficiency in:

Microsoft Excel (INTERMEDIATE+)

Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams

Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
