Customer Service Coordinator / Service Administrator
Location: Dedham, MA (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: $33.00 – $35.00 per hour
Duration: Contract (3-6 months)
Position Overview
We are seeking a customer-focused and organized Customer Service Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for customers at a busy service branch. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating repair appointments, creating work orders, and supporting day-to-day service operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with customers, and can effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers both in person and over the phone.
- Receive customer inquiries and gather information regarding service needs.
- Schedule repair appointments, equipment drop-offs, and pick-ups.
- Create and maintain work orders in company systems.
- Provide customers with service status updates and general support.
- Assist with troubleshooting inquiries and direct technical issues to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and customer records.
- Coordinate with service technicians and internal teams to ensure timely customer support.
- Build positive relationships with customers and deliver a professional customer experience.
- Support branch operations and administrative activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable interacting with customers both in person and by phone.
- Ability to prioritize work, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with computers and data entry systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Service Writer, Service Advisor, Service Coordinator, or Service Administrator experience.
- Previous experience in the automotive, equipment service, maintenance, repair, or dealership industries.
- Experience creating work orders, scheduling appointments, and supporting service operations.
