Field Service Supervisor (Contract Assignment)
Location: Onsite
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $32 – $34 an hr
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Supervisor to provide leadership and support for a busy service operation during a temporary leave coverage assignment. This role will oversee daily field service activities, coordinate technician schedules, assist customers, and support service operations to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and efficient workflow management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the Field Service team.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Answer customer questions and provide timely updates regarding service requests and repairs.
- Assist with creating estimates, work orders, and service documentation.
- Schedule and dispatch technicians while balancing workload and customer needs.
- Work closely with service administration staff to ensure efficient execution of service operations.
- Monitor work order progress and communicate status updates to customers.
- Support troubleshooting efforts by translating customer concerns into actionable service requirements.
- Assist with warranty-related processes and documentation when needed.
- Ensure accurate service records are maintained within company systems.
- Participate in resolving escalated customer concerns and service-related issues.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, service operations, or customer-facing roles.
- Experience directing, coordinating, or scheduling work assignments.
- Knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment service operations preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Comfortable working independently and making day-to-day operational decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience creating and managing work orders.
- Knowledge of warranty processes and service documentation.
- Understanding of diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures.
- Familiarity with service management systems.
- Ability to build positive customer relationships and provide exceptional customer support.
