Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams and business stakeholders to understand data content, business requirements, and analytical needs
- Independently design, create, and optimize Snowflake queries to support reporting and analytics initiatives
- Leverage strong Python-based data analysis skills to develop scalable, fully automated data processes
- Partner closely with the business to provide data consultancy, translating business needs into actionable insights through tools, metrics, dashboards, and data visualizations
- Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and enhance existing data pipelines and data solutions to ensure reliability and performance
- Quickly learn and apply new technologies to support evolving initiatives and drive innovation
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to deliver meaningful insights that inform business strategy and decision-making
- Promote and uphold data quality management best practices, including metadata management, data lineage, and standardized business definitions
- Build, deploy, and manage production-grade data pipelines, along with tools to monitor and report on data quality
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analytics
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication (soft) skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Apache Spark
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services
