Commercial Insurance Certificate Specialist – Level 1 (Remote)
Location: Remote (U.S. – EST hours required)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (40 hours/week)
Compensation: $21.50/hour (W-2 contract)
Contract Duration: May 11, 2026 – November 11, 2026
Job Summary
Aon Services is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Insurance Certificate Specialist to support business clients through accurate processing of insurance certificates and policy?related requests. This is a fully remote, contract role requiring strong data accuracy, time management, and prior exposure to commercial insurance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and policy documentation for commercial insurance lines
- Serve as a day-to-day support resource for client insurance policy inquiries
- Interpret client requirements and insurance documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Perform high-volume data entry and data management across proprietary systems and Excel
- Navigate and pivot between multiple applications while maintaining productivity and accuracy
- Communicate professionally with internal partners and clients via written and verbal channels
- Effectively manage shifting priorities in a fast?paced environment
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial insurance (certificate processing or policy support preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of data entry accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to interpret insurance and client documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in multiple systems and applications simultaneously
- Ability to work a fixed EST schedule with reliability
Education
- College degree preferred, or
- High School Diploma/GED with equivalent professional experience
