Data Warehousing Consultant (Job Code: 1378)

Duties: Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data to support business decisions; identify opportunities for reuse of data across the enterprise and validate data sources; keep abreast of new tools and technology and functionalities across the applications; work closely with customers, vendors, business analysts, and application development project teams to resolve information flow and content issues; ensure data integrity and compliance by performing data profiling and data validations; facilitate meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions; gather data and reporting requirements; detect and summarize patterns in data and findings by producing simple reports and work with development teams for problem resolutions; analyze and document client's business requirements and processes and communicate these requirements by constructing conceptual data and process models, including data dictionaries and volume estimates from organization; collaborate with work teams, departments, system leadership, staff, other IT groups, and technology vendors to define needs and facilitate solutions; provide input into developing and modifying systems to meet client needs and developing business specifications to support these modifications; create test scenarios and developing test plans to be used in testing the business applications to verify that client requirements are incorporated into the system design; assist in analyzing testing results throughout the project; utilize and apply knowledge of MS SQL Server, PowerBI, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, FACETS, IKA, PEGA, Python, data warehouse methodologies, Medicare/Medicaid, HIPAA data privacy/security requirements, and Affordable Care Act (ACA) to perform assigned duties; assist in coordinating business analyst tasks on information technology projects, problem tickets and provide support to other team members; provide support, escalation response to production problem issues and errors; perform root cause analysis and application resolution; provide on call second-level escalation response for client issues and problem tickets; assist in providing time estimates for project related tasks; and ensure proper documentation and on-time delivery of all functional artifacts and deliverables.
 
Location: Southfield, Michigan and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US;

Salary: $100,880 per year;

Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s – Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Supply Chain Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Training: None;

Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Data Analyst, as a Strategist, as a Data Specialist, or in a related occupation;

Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years use of all the following: MS SQL Server, PowerBI, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, FACETS, IKA, PEGA, Python, Medicare/Medicaid, HIPAA data Privacy/Security requirements, and Affordable Care Act (ACA).
