Schedule: 100% On-Site, Monday-Friday
Pay Range: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on IT support in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong desktop support, imaging, networking, printer support, and customer service experience while supporting end users, servers, and network infrastructure across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide desktop support, imaging, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Windows-based computers and devices.
- Monitor site IT health, including servers, network equipment, UPS systems, and client devices.
- Assist with server setup, patching, software deployment, cable installations, and network documentation.
- Support printer troubleshooting and maintenance for end users.
- Escort vendors during maintenance activities and coordinate with plant personnel to ensure IT best practices are followed.
- Maintain network IDF documentation, port mappings, and site infrastructure records.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of desktop support, technical support, or IT infrastructure experience.
- Experience with desktop imaging, printer support, and customer-facing technical support.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switching, and common network devices.
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Windows Server environments (2008-2019).
- Familiarity with Active Directory, antivirus platforms, and Windows security settings.
- Experience using remote desktop tools, Telnet/Putty, Teams, SharePoint, and imaging software.
- Exposure to server maintenance, system monitoring, and network cabling projects.
