Position: Developer

Location: Augusta, Maine (Remote- Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zone)

Employment Type: Full-Time Contract

Pay: $59-61 per hour

Responsibilities:

Analyze, design, develop, test, and document software enhancements and system modifications.
Develop and implement production fixes using GenTax functional and technical programming standards.
Create and maintain applications using C#, PostgreSQL, and Visual Studio.
Execute SQR change requests within the FAST GenTax system.
Track and manage changes in the Fast Central Repository (FCR) in accordance with project standards.
Collaborate with software developers and technical teams to ensure successful implementation of enhancements.
Participate in structured code reviews, walkthroughs, and quality assurance activities.
Work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to development and project standards.
Support initiatives that improve the efficiency and accuracy of tax processing systems.

Requirements:

5+ years of programming experience
2 years of experience with one of FAST Enterprises, LLC technology systems: GenTax, Fast DS-VS, Fast UI-PL, Fast CSE
Strong proficiency with: C#, PostgreSQL, and Visual Studio
Has not worked for FAST Enterprises directly in the past 6 months
