Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking an Entry-Level DevOps Engineer with strong coding fundamentals and a passion for DevOps, DevSecOps, and modern software delivery practices. This role will focus on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, supporting cloud infrastructure, automating operational tasks, and ensuring reliable, secure deployments. Medical device experience is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and containerized environments
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
  • Automate repetitive operational and system administration tasks
  • Ensure smooth, reliable, and secure deployments
  • Contribute to DevOps workflows through scripting and automation
  • Provide system performance optimization, maintenance, and escalated production support
  • Apply enterprise security policies and standards in all operational duties
  • Refine conceptual system requirements into technical designs, job flows, and program specifications
  • Collaborate with customers to understand business objectives, system requirements, and performance expectations
  • Assist with customer issue resolution and ongoing support
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and provide improvement recommendations
  • Manage software code projects and participate in project coordination
  • Support vendor relationship management as needed

Required Skills & Technical Qualifications

  • Strong coding skills (testing experience not required)
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) tools and practices
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Azure and Azure PaaS services
    • CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar)
    • Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
    • Version control systems (Git, GitLab)
    • Containerization and orchestration (Docker, AKS/Kubernetes)
    • REST APIs
  • Experience or exposure to:
    • Automation (testing and/or orchestration)
    • Scripting languages
    • Virtualization technologies
    • Security checks within CI/CD pipelines
    • Networking fundamentals (firewalls, load balancers, reverse proxies such as F5 LTM/GTM or Azure-native services)
  • Familiarity with development methodologies:
    • DevOps (primary)
    • Agile
    • Waterfall

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Computer Science
    • Computer Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Biomedical Engineering (or related field)
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience
  • Medical device industry experience preferred but not required
