Senior Network DevOps Engineer – DNS/DHCP/IPAM
W2 CONTRACT ONLY

We are seeking a Senior Network DevOps Engineer with strong experience in DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI), Cisco networking, and infrastructure automation. This role combines enterprise network engineering with DevOps practices to automate infrastructure, improve software and network delivery, and support highly available cloud and on-premises environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) environments.
- Troubleshoot DNS resolution issues, DHCP lease failures, IP conflicts, and network connectivity problems.
- Support enterprise networking technologies including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and Cisco networks.
- Automate network and infrastructure workflows using Python/scripting, REST APIs, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Integrate IPAM/network workflows with ITSM and cloud platforms.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes across development, testing, and production environments.
- Support complex infrastructure migrations and large-scale deployments.
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability, deployment speed, security, and operational efficiency through automation.
- Support Unix/Linux environments and software development using languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript.
- Explore and implement AI-driven automation for DNS incident and change management.
- Participate in production support, incident response, and an on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of networking experience, with strong hands-on expertise in DNS, DHCP, and IPAM/DDI.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and Cisco networking.
- Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise network environments.
- Experience with REST APIs and network automation/scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible and/or Terraform.
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
- Experience supporting cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing or managing APIs.
- Programming experience with Python and/or Java.
- CI/CD and DevOps experience.
- CCNA or CCNP certification.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
- ITIL or equivalent experience.
- Experience automating DNS/DDI operations.
