Job Description:
Overview
Our client is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support tractor manufacturing operations at a world-class production facility. This is an excellent opportunity for recent engineering graduates, manufacturing interns, or early-career engineers looking to gain hands-on experience in quality engineering, supplier quality, and manufacturing operations.
In this role, you’ll spend significant time on the production floor working with suppliers, production teams, and engineering groups to identify quality concerns, investigate root causes, and implement solutions that improve manufacturing performance and product quality.
Responsibilities

  • Investigate manufacturing and supplier quality issues and help drive corrective actions.
  • Support inspections and quality evaluations of parts, processes, and production systems.
  • Work closely with suppliers, production personnel, and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns.
  • Collect, analyze, and report quality and manufacturing data.
  • Assist with process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in testing and validation of engineering solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate activities with suppliers and contractors as needed.
  • Support project activities and quality-related documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing internship, co-op, or hands-on production experience.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
  • Exposure to quality tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, SPC, FMEA, or 8D.
  • Experience working with suppliers or manufacturing operations.

Work Environment

  • Fully onsite position.
  • Approximately 80% of time spent on the manufacturing floor.
  • Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Business casual dress code.
  • Safety footwear required.
  • Occasional travel between nearby company facilities may be required.
