Job Description:
The Engineer Tech Analyst supports vehicle testing by preparing vehicles, operating chassis dynamometer test sites, monitoring test activities, and troubleshooting equipment or vehicle communication issues. This is a hands-on, fully onsite role requiring strong technical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced testing environment.
- Review test communications and complete the test request process.
- Prepare vehicles and install them on test sites.
- Operate and monitor chassis dyno testing equipment.
- Remove vehicles from test sites upon test completion.
- Investigate test setup, communication, and quality-related issues.
- Conduct safety observations and support corrective action activities.
- Perform quality audits and maintain standardized work documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
- Train team members and attend shift-overlap meetings.
- Communicate and escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain safe, clean, and hazard-free test environments.
