Job Title: Finance Manager
Contract Duration: 8 months, possible extension

Pay Range: $70-$75/hour
Summary
Seeking a finance professional responsible for supporting strategic decision-making through financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting. Partners closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to evaluate performance, improve budgeting processes, and provide actionable insights on key business drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities. Plays a critical role in budgeting, forecasting cycles, and month-end close activities while maintaining a strong understanding of both detailed financial impacts and broader business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models and analyses to influence decision making around strategic initiatives and KPIs
- Work closely with cross-functional departments and senior leadership
- Take responsibility for the continued improvement of the firm’s budgeting process
- Participate in monthly business reviews by providing insightful advice and recommendations
- Perform analysis of financial results or projections and prepare presentations highlighting underlying drivers of performance, emerging trends, and risks or opportunities
- Coordinate and assist in all aspects of the annual budget submission as well as the monthly and quarterly projection cycles
- Assist with the month-end close through journal entry preparation and account reconciliation of key accounts
- Able to work independently with limited supervision, complete complex financial models with limited information
- Understand the impact to direct area of responsibility, but maintain an understanding of the broader financial and business impacts
Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree in Accounting and/or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint; Access proficiency a plus
- Strong financial modeling, planning, forecasting, and analysis skills
- Strong foundation in finance, transactions, and GAAP accounting
