Job Description

Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join its Seller Support Finance team in Bellevue, WA. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys using data-driven insights to support operational and business decisions.
The Financial Analyst will partner with finance leaders and business stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, expense management, and operational analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying trends, providing actionable recommendations, and helping drive efficiency across the Seller Support organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking, and financial planning activities.
  • Perform financial and operational analysis to support business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders to improve processes and establish scalable financial metrics.
  • Prepare and present financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, SQL, Cognos, and Essbase to gather, analyze, and report financial data.
  • Assist with strategic planning and operational decision-making.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant finance, FP&A, or financial analysis experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling abilities.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL, Cognos, or Essbase.
  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets.
  • Comfortable presenting financial findings to senior leadership.
