Front-End Software Development Engineer
Location: Dearborn, MI (Hybrid – Onsite Mon–Thu)
Schedule: Day shift
Compensation: $55-60/hr with benefits
About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Front-End Software Development Engineer to design and build intuitive, user-friendly web and mobile applications. This role focuses on delivering exceptional user experiences through modern frameworks and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain front-end applications using React, Next.js, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and back-end developers
- Create mock-ups, prototypes, and participate in UI design reviews
- Perform automated and UI testing to ensure quality
- Optimize performance and implement new technologies
- Stay current with emerging trends in UI/UX
Required Skills:
- React, JavaScript, CSS
- Experience with Next.js and Playwright
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, SEO principles, and accessibility standards
Experience:
- 6+ years in IT
- 4+ years in front-end development (React, Next.js, Playwright)
- Bachelor’s degree required
Nice-to-Have:
- Monorepo and AEM experience
