Our client is looking to find a talented Genomics Technician to support cutting-edge research within the Genomics Facility.
? What You’ll Do: • Perform NGS sample intake, QC, and processing • Operate advanced sequencing platforms including Illumina NovaSEQ and Element AVITI • Run quality control instruments such as the Fragment Analyzer, Bioanalyzer, Qubit, and qPCR systems • Support research projects through data analysis, documentation, and client communication • Collaborate with researchers, students, and laboratory staff on innovative genomics initiatives
? Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field • Previous laboratory experience preferred, especially in genomics or molecular biology • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Location: Chicago, IL
? Contract Duration: 8/31/2026 – 2/26/2027
? Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
