Pay Range: $30 – $35/hour

Summary
We are seeking a Grants Operations Support Staffer to help execute our grantmaking operations. This role will provide operational support and process execution to ensure the efficient and accurate delivery of charitable contributions across the country.

Responsibilities
Grantmaking & System Support

  • Grant Processing: Process grant disbursements and invoice payments from end-to-end.
  • System Expertise: Maintain strong familiarity with the Foundation’s grantmaking software and financial systems to troubleshoot issues and support updates.
  • Inbox Management: Monitor the Foundation’s general inboxes and provide timely, high-quality responses or escalate inquiries to the appropriate internal partner.
  • Quality Assurance: Proofread and test updates to proposal types, impact reports, and system workflows to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Operational Support

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Support communication with the Foundation’s technology vendor and internal partners (Finance, Legal, and Program teams) by sharing information, tracking issues, and following through on next steps.
  • Training Support: Assist in preparing materials and guiding team members on how to use grantmaking software and internal financial processes.
  • Reporting: Pull, filter, and format reports based on program needs (e.g., finances, volunteer hours, impact metrics).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in grantmaking software, financial systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Instructional Strength: Ability to translate complex processes into clear documentation or simple explanations.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy with financial data, reconciliations, and documentation.
  • Independent Prioritization: Ability to manage deadlines, track multiple workflows, and escalate issues when needed.
