Paralegal
Location: Providence, RI
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $26.20/hr
Employment Type: W2 Contract
About the Role
Epitec is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to support a highly active legal services program. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of paralegal and administrative duties that support legal operations, case management, and record maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage confidential legal information with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
– Perform a variety of paralegal duties in support of legal staff and ongoing legal services programs.
– Maintain, organize, and update legal files and records.
– Retrieve and extract information from legal files upon request.
– Prepare correspondence, reports, legal documents, and other written materials.
– Assist with case file management and document tracking.
– Communicate effectively with internal teams, legal professionals, and external stakeholders.
– Prepare oral and written reports as needed.
– Ensure accuracy and confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
– Support additional legal and administrative functions as assigned.
Required Qualifications
– Prior experience in a paralegal, legal assistant, or related legal support role.
– Strong typing and data entry skills.
– Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
– Ability to prepare professional reports and correspondence.
– Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
– Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, leadership, and external partners.
– Experience maintaining and managing legal files and records.
– Proficiency with standard office software and document management systems.
Additional Information
– Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
– Candidates should be aware that on-street parking is the primary parking option at the work location.
– Garage and parking lot options may be available at an additional cost.
