Graphics Designer I
This role is anticipated to be 100% remote
Duration: 2 months (Part-time role)

  • Strong PowerPoint (PPT) skills are required; candidates must provide PPT work samples/portfolio for consideration.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct presentation errors during final quality reviews.
  • Strong process orientation and ability to follow established guidelines, review checklists, and instructions.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of assignments and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • This is a junior-level role focused primarily on conducting final quality assurance reviews of presentations created by Gartner analysts. The role is not design-intensive and offers limited opportunity to enhance presentation designs.
  • Candidates will interact directly with stakeholders; however, the role is more execution-focused and less collaborative than the Graphic Designer III position.

This is a unique opportunity to join the BTI Studio design team and impact the Gartner client experience through creation of compelling design that supports and communicates our best practice, insight-driven content. We are looking for a self-motivated, highly creative problem solver to make information more consumable for Gartner audiences by using design (e.g., conceptual graphics and data visualizations, layouts, and illustrations) to convey Gartner’s expert guidance and tools that enable faster, smarter decisions and stronger performance on an organization’s most critical priorities. As an Associate Graphic Design Contractor, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and other designers across the in-house design team to deliver impactful and timely products and expertly apply brand and design principles to create effective content visuals that meet strategic company goals. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and should provide strong PowerPoint presentation examples in their portfolio, as most of our design work is completed in PPT. Candidates should also have experience working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects on various timelines.

What you will do:

  • Review stakeholder-created content, following a checklist to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Produce high-quality, client-ready graphics, data visualizations, and layouts for projects of lower to moderate complexity.
  • Consistently apply Gartner brand and visual design principles to all content.
  • Create intuitively consumable visuals with minimal manager support, with an expectation of growing complexity over time.
  • Partner consultatively with internal stakeholders and peers.
  • Clearly communicate design rationale and brand principles.
  • Seek and provide feedback to continuously improve design solutions.
  • Organize and prioritize assigned projects effectively.
  • Utilize specified tools (e.g., CPP, ClickUp) to track timelines and communicate project expectations.
  • Proactively inform your manager of project progress and escalate potential roadblocks or scope changes.
  • Related duties as assigned
