Hadoop Developer (Hybrid/Onsite)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Hadoop Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions within a big data environment. This role will focus on building and optimizing distributed data processing systems using Hadoop, Spark, and Python, while ensuring efficient data transformation and storage.
This is a hybrid/onsite role requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that support business and technical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and applications using Hadoop and Spark frameworks
- Develop and optimize data processing solutions using Python and SQL/Stored Procedures
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code for large-scale data processing
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing data workflows and systems
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across platforms
- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of related IT experience with a focus on development and data engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Hadoop
- Apache Spark
- Python
- SQL and Stored Procedures
- Proven experience in technical design and coding within enterprise environments
- Experience building and optimizing data processing pipelines
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with large-scale or distributed data systems
- Familiarity with data architecture and performance tuning
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience working in hybrid or onsite team environments
