Infrastructure Support Analyst

Location: Dearborn, MI 48120
Schedule: Hybrid – 4 days onsite
Pay Rate: Up to $40.45/hour, depending on experience and chosen benefits

Position Overview

The Infrastructure Support Analyst will support enterprise Storage as a Service (StaaS) and Data Protection as a Service (DPaaS) offerings. This role partners closely with infrastructure, server, and vendor teams to support planning, asset management, financial tracking, and day-to-day operational activities across a global storage environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support planning, tracking, and execution of work using Jira, including Epics, User Stories, and Tasks

  • Assist with asset management activities, including leasing, service contracts, and lifecycle tracking

  • Contribute to current and future planning initiatives supporting the global expansion and evolution of storage services

  • Support installation of new storage hardware and removal of end-of-life equipment

  • Assist with planning and installing fiber connections to new storage devices and completing connectivity requests originating from server teams

  • Perform ongoing troubleshooting within a server-connected storage environment

  • Support financial tracking, capacity planning, and reporting activities

  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for storage installations, decommissions, and hardware refreshes

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate-level IT experience (2+ years)

  • Experience using Jira for planning, tracking, and task management

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel

  • Ability to analyze complex data and present findings to leadership

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of procurement, purchasing, or project management processes

  • Familiarity with data center layouts, access procedures, and operational standards

  • Understanding of storage fiber infrastructure, including fiber optic connections and Cisco MDS switches

  • Experience coordinating installation and decommissioning of storage devices

  • Familiarity with vendor power and connectivity requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. if needed
