Position Summary:
The Leave and Accommodations Specialist supports the administration and continuous improvement of the Leave of Absence (LOA) and Accommodation Program. This role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, enhances the employee experience, and maintains accurate records through collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance, interpretation, and consultation on escalated leave and accommodation cases.
- Support vendor oversight to ensure program compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collect, organize, and interpret employee needs, translating them into actionable business policies and procedures.
- Audit leave records for accuracy and resolve payroll-related inquiries in partnership with payroll teams.
- Ensure proper reflection of PTO, PPL, and leave time in timekeeping systems through regular audits.
- Manage day-to-day vendor activities, including data governance and quality assurance initiatives.
- Deliver excellent customer service to employees navigating the leave and accommodation process.
Required Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in leave administration, accommodations, or related HR functions.
- Proficiency in Workday and ServiceNow platforms.
- Strong understanding of federal and state leave regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
