Title: Logistics Analyst

Details: 12-month contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite role
Pay Rate: $22.00 – 23.50 with benefit inclusions
Job Summary
The Production and Materials Coordinator supports daily production and supply chain operations by ensuring materials, inventory, documentation, and work processes meet operational requirements and quality standards. This role reviews production schedules, work orders, staffing plans, and material demands, maintains accurate production and inventory records, and supports efficient material flow to meet production needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Examine documents, materials, and products to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
- Review production schedules, work orders, staffing plans, and material requirements to support operational priorities.
- Monitor production processes and material availability to help maintain production schedules.
- Record and maintain production, inventory, material consumption, and quality-related data.
- Requisition and track materials and supplies needed to support production demands.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with material planning activities.
- Analyze manufacturing, labor, and material-related data to support operational decision-making.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding material requirements and availability.
- Maintain accurate reports, records, and production documentation.
- Support problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and process monitoring.
Years of Experience and Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory control, production coordination, manufacturing support, or a related environment preferred.
- Relevant internship experience may be considered.
Skills Required
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to analyze manufacturing, labor, inventory, cost, and material data.
- Understanding of inventory control, material planning, production scheduling, and logistics processes.
- Experience maintaining accurate records, reports, and operational documentation.
- Knowledge of shipping, production, and related regulatory requirements.
