Logistics Analyst | On-Site | Morton, IL
Pay: $24 – $26 an hr

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to support critical transportation and supply chain operations within a fast-paced logistics environment. This role is responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments, managing transportation activities, analyzing logistics data, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials to support manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute transportation and logistics programs, managing end-to-end shipment activities for ocean, drayage, truckload, and breakbulk freight.
  • Create, monitor, and maintain shipments within Blue Yonder while coordinating with carriers, ports, customs teams, and receiving facilities.
  • Pull, analyze, and maintain multiple Excel reports daily using formulas, queries, and advanced spreadsheet functions.
  • Review production, shipment, and inventory data to identify issues, monitor performance, and support operational decision-making.
  • Coordinate shipment diversions, delivery appointments, customs prioritization, and transportation scheduling to meet critical business needs.
  • Monitor carrier performance, track shipment dwell time, and communicate with transportation providers to resolve delays and exceptions.
  • Compile and maintain logistics, inventory, and transportation reports while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, manufacturing facilities, trade operations, and external logistics partners to provide shipment status updates and issue resolution.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, spreadsheet formatting, data analysis, and running queries.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex, process-driven workflows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with international transportation, ocean imports, drayage, or customs processes.
  • Experience using transportation management systems such as Blue Yonder.
  • Knowledge of freight operations, shipping documentation, and supply chain processes.
