Logistics Analyst
Location: Alpharetta, GA 
Pay: $28 – $30 an hr 
Schedule: 
First Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Analyst to join a dynamic supply chain and logistics team supporting business transformation initiatives and operational excellence. This is a 12-month contract opportunity based in Alpharetta, GA, offering the chance to drive logistics improvements, optimize transportation processes, and support key shipment planning activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials and products according to production schedules
  • Plan, schedule, and manage key shipments and transportation activities
  • Monitor logistics operations to ensure compliance with carrier and network requirements
  • Analyze logistics and supply chain data to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Support warehouse continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives
  • Review production schedules, work orders, and material requirements to maintain operational flow
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure materials are available to support production demands
  • Track and report production, shipment, inventory, and quality-related metrics
  • Adjust schedules and priorities in response to material shortages, design changes, or operational disruptions
  • Collaborate closely with operations, logistics, supply chain, and manufacturing teams
  • Support freight issue resolution and transportation-related problem solving

Required Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of logistics, supply chain, transportation, production planning, or related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Associate degree with relevant experience will be considered
    • High School Diploma/GED with significant related experience will also be considered
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with advanced data analysis and reporting
  • Knowledge of logistics operations, transportation management, and inventory control
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Process-driven mindset with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of shipping, manufacturing, and production-related regulations
