Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Santa Ana, California
Details: Contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite role
Pay Rate: $36.00 – 38.00/hr. based on benefit inclusions
Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator supports day-to-day supply chain operations by managing the full logistics lifecycle for customer orders. This role is responsible for order tracking, reporting, issue resolution, and coordination across internal teams, 3PL partners, and customers to ensure efficient and accurate delivery performance.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate daily logistics operations across 3PL providers, internal teams, and customer accounts
• Track and manage customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely shipment and delivery updates
• Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports and KPIs to stakeholders
• Monitor open orders and shipping status using SAP to identify delays or in-transit issues
• Investigate and resolve warehouse, carrier, and shipping discrepancies
• Communicate order status updates to cross-functional teams and business units
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency
• Support ad hoc reporting, analysis, and supply chain-related projects
Education and Years of Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred, OR
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in 3PL warehousing, transportation, or order/account management
Skills Required
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and data analysis
• Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
• Customer account management experience with strong service orientation
• SAP and Transportation Management System (TMS) experience
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide recommendations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities
• Ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal direction
• High attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of logistics industry standards and best practices
• Ability to support extended hours, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel as needed
