Epitec is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our automotive client’s team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, the candidate will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- This is an onsite position in Sterling Heights, MI
Responsibilities:
- Own CMMS setup (Maximo/EzMaxMobile): create new assets, configure PMs, and establish plant documentation storage with OEM inputs.
- Partner with OEMs & plant maintenance to capture/upload equipment documentation, PM schedules, and Visual Job Plans (VJPs).
- Create and maintain Launch MOS status & scorecards; coordinate timing and deliverables across plant, OEMs, and PTME.
- Lead spare parts governance: run scrub meetings, verify 1295s, attach spares to assets, and manage critical spares.
- Develop “Launch MOS Readiness” assessments by line/station; track risks, actions, and readiness.
- Supervise and coordinate hourly employees daily, ensuring safe, high?quality, and productive execution.
- Increase machine availability & reduce MTTR; lead resolution of machining?related concerns and remove throughput constraints via root?cause fixes.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity; ensure all tasks are properly documented (VJPs).
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED.
- Experience: 5+ years of related maintenance/production experience in manufacturing.
- Technical: Preventive Maintenance, SMP/Standard Maintenance Procedures, Inventory Maintenance; hands?on Maximo/EzMaxMobile asset & PM setup.
- Leadership: Labor supervision (hourly workforce), labor relations, and strong organizational leadership.
- Communication: Effective oral/written skills; proven interpersonal and team?building abilities.
- Manufacturing excellence: Maintenance planning & execution in high?volume/automotive environments.
- Lean/Six Sigma: DMAIC/DMADV, Kaizen; tools including 5S, Kanban, Poka?yoke, Value Stream Mapping.
- Problem solving: 8D, 5?Why; familiarity with FMEA, PPAP, DOE.
- Operations: Visual Factory Management; ergonomic analysis knowledge/experience.
