Manufacturing Engineer I – Waco, TX – Entry Level
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to join a growing manufacturing team in Waco, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for recent engineering graduates or early-career professionals looking to gain hands-on experience supporting production operations, continuous improvement initiatives, and new product introduction activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Location: Waco, TX (On-Site)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $20 an hr

Key Responsibilities
- Support production operations by troubleshooting manufacturing and assembly issues on the shop floor.
- Update tooling, routings, bills of materials (BOMs), and manufacturing documentation.
- Assist with new product introduction (NPI) activities and implementation of engineering changes.
- Author and maintain standard work instructions and process documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, Rapid Improvement Workshops (RIWs), and problem-solving activities.
- Analyze workflows, material flow, and production processes to identify efficiency improvements.
- Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to support manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with production, quality, supply chain, logistics, and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Support 3D printing activities and various manufacturing projects.
- Prepare reports, charts, process diagrams, and workflow documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 0–2 years of engineering experience (internships accepted).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CAD software.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production environments.
- Familiarity with SAP, Teamcenter, Visio, 5S, or root cause corrective action methodologies.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
