Position Title:
Assembly Manufacturing Engineer
Location:
Onsite in Horicon, WI
Shift:
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- Note: Role may require support or transition to off-shift. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Spend approximately 50% of the day on the shop floor.
- Occasionally lift up to 35 lbs (infrequent).
- Apply strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills daily.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization:
- Provide direct line support for production employees.
- Report project progress to management.
- Knowledge of assembly processes and tooling is highly preferred.
- May operate a JD Gator inside the factory after training.
- May drive a personal vehicle to other facilities for meetings as needed.
- Metatarsal shoes required starting Day 1.
Education & Experience:
- Preferred Education: Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, etc.)
- OR 5+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer.
- Required Experience: 2–3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Recent graduates with relevant internships will be considered (compensation reflects experience).
- Preferred Background: Assembly processes and tooling knowledge.
